Nissan’s popular mid-size sedan, Altima continues to impress in the mid-size sedan category with a better design and offering an advanced package of safety and driver-assistance technologies that include pedestrian detection for the automatic emergency braking, rear automatic braking, rear parking sensors, automatic high beams, lane departure warning and a blind spot warning with rear cross-traffic alert.
Other notable features that stood out during the drive was the lane-centering steering and adaptive cruise control that allows semi-autonomous driving and a 360-degree camera system for those who prefer to add more option to the basic model.

Music lovers will enjoy the Bose Premium Audio System tailored to the unique interior acoustics of your Altima. This was useful for my inter Emirates journey while I was testing the Altima.
The new Altima takes a comprehensive approach to safety that guides the engineering and development of every car and is a winner in my books for fuel economy.
Compared with the previous-generation Altima’s 3.5-liter V6 engine, the 2.0-liter VC-Turbo requires less space in the engine bay. The integrated exhaust manifold in the cylinder head contributes to the compact engine packaging, improves turbo response and enables the catalytic converter to heat up quickly for lower emissions.
Overall, the car’s exhilarating style, performance and affordability will ensure it is always in demand and it is one of the region’s most popular product lines.
