The #nofilterdxb event, an experiential outdoor motoring, sports, and lifestyle festival in celebration of the UAE’s Golden Jubilee, ran from 24 – 27 November at Dubai Harbour. The Grenadier featured a special wrap in honour of the national celebrations.
The second-phase (2B) prototype Grenadier arrived in Dubai last month. Its regional show debut at #nofilterdxb followed an exclusive four-day showcase at X Quarry Off-Road & Adventure Park in Mleiha, Sharjah that represented the latest leg of a global Grenadier 2B Tour. The 2B Tour gives selected customers and reservation holders around the world their first dynamic experience of the vehicle. It has also been undergoing further testing in the region as part of a 1.8 million kilometre development programme in some of the most challenging terrain and conditions.
Production of the all-new INEOS Grenadier for key global markets, including the Middle East, is scheduled to begin in July 2022. INEOS Automotive has signed an agreement with Adamas Motors to operate sales and service sites in the UAE and Bahrain.
Built from the ground up on an all-new platform, the INEOS Grenadier is an uncompromising off-road vehicle, designed and engineered for those who need a dependable workhorse capable of tackling the toughest environments. It uses the same structural solution as the iconic off-road vehicles of the past: a strong ladder frame chassis, plus solid beam axles at the front and rear both on coil springs. Power will come from a choice of 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbo petrol or diesel engines from BMW.
Inside, the Grenadier is practical and durable, with the technology and comfort today’s users expect. Its intuitive and functional layout features physical switches, widely spaced for easy use on the move, and an overhead console for off-road and auxiliary controls.
