McLaren Automotive, the British creator of luxury, high-performance sportscars and supercars showcased its new McLaren GT model during an exclusive preview event held in UAE and made its Middle East debut in the Kingdom of Bahrain the same day the car was unveiled digitally to the world.
The fourth model to be launched under the McLaren Automotive Track25 business plan, which will see a further 14 new models or derivatives, rewrites the rules of modern Grand Touring through a combination of class-leading performance with continent-crossing capability and beautiful design.
Positioned alongside the established Sports, Super and Ultimate Series product families, this is a new McLaren for a new audience and provides a compelling alternative to existing competitors in this expanding market segment.

Superlight, yet supremely comfortable, the new McLaren GT is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, providing supercar performance. In its lightest specification, the new GT weighs only 1,530 kilograms (DIN), which in conjunction with 620PS and 630Nm, generates breath-taking acceleration of only 3.2 seconds from 0-100 km/h and a top speed of 326km/h.
The interior features Nappa leather and Alcantara®, as well as bespoke seats designed with long distance comfort in mind. The highest-quality materials are complemented by the most sophisticated McLaren infotainment system to date, as well as hidden-until-lit ambient lighting and machined aluminium switches and controls.

As the first McLaren to major on touring refinement, the level of practicality and luggage capacity of the new GT are greatly enhanced. In addition to 150 litres of storage space at the front, a rear luggage bay offering up to 420 litres of storage space is accessed via glazed tailgate with optional power opening and closing mechanism. The spacious luggage bay, which can be trimmed with wear-resistant SuperFabric®, can accommodate a full set of golf clubs.
The retail price of the new McLaren GT in the UAE starts from AED 875,000 with first market deliveries of the car scheduled for beginning of 2020. The optional Luxe and Pioneer specification packs, as well as a choice of Special exterior colours are included in the base price, providing the discerning, regional customers with additional scope for personalisation.
